To "play mas," and join participate in the parade you must register with Sunlime Mas and purchase a costume. Once you've selected and secured the costume of your choice, you will be considered "registered". Purchase of a costume from one of our Section Leaders gives you access to the parade route inside the barricades with security, food, non-alcoholic drinks and music trucks.
Toronto Carnival events runs from Thursday, July 30 to Monday, August 3, 2026 with the Grand Parade taking place on Saturday, August 1, 2026, starting at roughly 8:00 AM and running until 8:00 PM. The parade route primarily runs through Exhibition Place in Downtown-Toronto and along Lakeshore Boulevard West.
Your costume purchase includes your costume with SUNLIME Mas, wristband to access the parade route, your SUNLIME wristband to access our food and refreshment truck where a lite breakfast and lunch are served, and where you can access non-alcoholic drinks and our Premium Punch.
Only registered masqueraders in costume may access and walk the parade route.
Costumes must be picked up from our Mas Camp in person located in Scarborough, ON. Costume pickup will take place the week of the parade from July 27th - July 31st.
Costume pickup for locals Monday - Thursday (depending on the Section/Costume).
Costume pickup for international masqueraders takes place on Friday July 31st.
Costume must be paid in full prior to pick up.
